Hi, I am distracted by strange feelings of anger and hopelessness when I try to meditate. Please help!
You are aware of the anger, the mind and the hopelessness.
You are the awareness whose attention is being diverted by the above objects.
As the awareness beyond the objects i.e., the subject of the experience, you have choice. To focus on them or to go back to your breathing. Again and again and again.
You are the awareness in and to which these actors are auditioning.
You are beyond
You have a choice on where to place your awareness…. maybe on counting your breath or pure awareness itself. You choose…. you are not a prisoner to your mind.
